My apologies, everyone! The medical necessity of having a pacemaker installed placed me "on the shelf" for a few days, so I didn't have the time to do any posting on Facebook. Now that the procedure is behind me, I hope to get back to my normal routines, including that of posting. I deeply appreciate your prayers on my behalf!
Dear Bunker Hill Church Family and Friends, May the Lord help us. The government most assuredly will not. Go the U. S. House of Representatives site to see exactly what H. R. 5, which was passed by the House this morning, means to people of faith. In Christ Jesus, Dan J.
A REMINDER TO MARK YOUR CALENDAR: On June 9 (10 AM), Bunker Hill Church will hold a service of gratitude and celebration at its first church building, which is now located at Olde Stone House Village, Egg Harbor Road, in Washington Township. Current members and former members are invited to attend.
Bill Fadrowski, a dear friend from my days as pastor in North Arlington (Bill was the Monsignor of the Catholic church in town -- he's now retired), is as fond of puns as I am. He sent this to me this morning, and I now happily share it with you, knowing that those of you of a certain age (yes, I am in that "certain age" category!) will immediately find a tune running through your minds. Enjoy!
DON'T FORGET: CHURCHWIDE WORKDAY IS TOMORROW (MAY 4) FROM 10 AM TO 12 NOON. THE MORE "HANDS ON DECK," THE QUICKER THE CHORES WILL BE DONE. PLEASE HELP!
We received an invitation (it appears below) from the mother of a 16-year-old musician who will be performing with nationally- and internationally-renowned organist Gordon Turk. Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church 312 Daretown Road Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 3:00 PM The concert will be performed by our 16-year-old son and his distinguished teacher, Dr. Gordon Turk. He is the organist and choirmaster at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania. During the summers, Dr. Turk is the resident organist who performs on the Great Organ at the famed Auditorium of Ocean Grove (NJ) Camp Meeting Association. We hope people in your church will come to the concert, which should be very enjoyable! Grace Oh Kraybill
